Scott Ingram

Director

Highly extroverted and addicted to coffee, I’m never too busy for a catch-up.

 

I built my first website at the age of 10, and went on to develop my career in marketing and advertising. With my native digital skills and commercial background, I bring deep insight into the present digital landscape and its relevance to business owners.

 

With a strong belief that 9/10 is barely acceptable, I have built a team of like-minded individuals who are to credit for Helium’s reputation. Backed by this team, I was honoured to become a Top Three Finalist in my category at the Western Australian Young Achiever Awards in 2018.

 

In my spare time, I enjoy being with my wife Amy and daughter Indigo, exploring the outdoors, and getting involved in my local community.

Kylee Ingram

General Manager

I understand that there is a big difference between a brand and a business. That’s why I want to learn as much as possible about who my clients are and what drives them.

 

The reality is, the market and economy shift all the time, so no one can afford to be too inflexible. Reworking a few key things in your sales and marketing strategy can have a bottom line impact quite quickly.

 

With over 20 years working with small and medium enterprises, I pick up on nuances that will integrate marketing with personal connection, which is, ultimately, what drives response. I have reached a stage in my life where my greatest satisfaction comes from helping people by being generous with my time and experience.

Helen Burns

I’m pretty much the marketing equivalent of a ‘back seat driver’ (don’t worry, not the annoying kind!). I mostly work behind the scenes and manage Helium’s Creative Team to ensure every project exceeds client expectations. I’m the first point of contact for many of our clients, and I love the relational aspects my role provides.

 

With a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Public Relations, I bring the latest industry practices into the workplace, but I’m always on the lookout for new marketing advancements! My energetic and cheerful persona is fuelled by the talented team around me and the occasional Kombucha.

Ashleigh Peletier

Copywriter

My relational approach to copy has me looking for ways to add warmth and heart, and I like to meet the clients I’m working with so I have a genuine feel for who they are and what they’re about.

 

As a perfectionist, I’ve always had an eye for fine detail, which means everyone here gets me to check their grammar and formatting — lucky me. No sarcasm intended; I’m in my element! I’m always looking for ways to sharpen my skills and love the variety of industries Helium work with.

 

With a Creative Writing degree under my belt, I’m here to help you double-down on a stand-out message that converts.

Donna Lamont

Content Strategist

My job usually involves a lot of listening and reading – then breaking that information down to make it digestible to the average punter.

 

Initially writing scripts for On Hold messages and 30 second radio grabs has given me the knack for getting to the core of a message in a short space of time.

 

With a background in Sales Management as well as running my own online retail business, I am tuned in to writing copy that has a strong call to action without sounding pushy.

I’ve always been captivated by art and design – it’s the ability to articulate an idea in a tangible way – and I love to bring my client’s ideas to life. It’s so satisfying knowing I’ve played a integral part in my clients’ success.

 

While I enjoy branding and print management, I’ve developed a specialty in designing for online mediums – whether that be websites, branded newsletters or social media graphics.

I have a keen interest in how branding and business intersect. As such, I’ve developed a strong understanding of brand identity, and how the role of marketing can heavily dictate the success of a company. In particular, I believe a brand’s visual personality plays a key part in communicating its presence with the public and stakeholders.

 

My combination of skills and experience has made me an adaptable designer fluent in a range of mediums and styles, and I’ve found my niche in playful, illustrative designs. I love creating for the everyday business-to-consumer interaction in a way that is natural and visually engaging so you can effortlessly connect with your audience.

As both a graphic designer and photographer, I thrive on opportunities to express my creativity.

 

I love working with like-minded, passionate and creative people on a wide range of projects including brand development, website design, print solutions, illustration and more. With a Bachelor of Arts in both graphic design and photography, you can rest assured you’re in the safe hands of a professional who will see both the big picture and the finer details.

 

Other than designing, capturing or creating, you will find me relaxing at home with my husband or often dreaming up big ideas with friends while sipping soy latte’s at my favourite café (a well kept secret).

I am passionate about telling stories through video and photography. Everything and everyone has a story and it is the videographer’s craft to find it and capture its essence in the best way possible.

 

I enjoy the challenge of teaching and inspiring audiences by crafting visual stories to capture their attention. Video is like opening a window through which the audience can get to know the subject of the story up close, bringing concepts to life in front of their eyes.
